An Italian table lamp by Banci Firenze, sourced from a private Florentine estate connected to the Banci family, embodying the design aesthetic that defined much of Italian lighting design in the 1970s.
A substantial sphere of white marble serves as the foundation, its veining introducing a natural variation across the geometric silhouette. Rising from the stone, a slender brushed metal arm angles outward to support a broad conical shade, creating a sense of movement against the weight and permanence of the base.
The contrast between materials is central to the design. Marble provides mass and solidity, while the metal elements introduce precision and lightness. The spherical base reads almost as a carved architectural element, while the angled arm gives the piece a subtle asymmetry that shifts depending on the viewer’s position. Illuminated, the shade casts a soft, expansive light; unlit, the lamp remains a study in proportion and material.

White Glove Delivery
Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
