Luberon Stone Sculptures

Carved in the quiet hours after work by a retired physiotherapist in his Luberon atelier, each sculpture is a meditation in form. Now in his eighties, the artist chooses to remain unnamed—preferring that the work speak in silence. Over the decades, he carved only for himself. For the ritual. For the stillness. For the shape of feeling.
Each piece is hand-carved from pierre de Castries, a soft limestone native to southern France. The surface is raw and tactile, revealing both time and touch. The figures—stylized, upright, and elemental—echo the human body the artist spent his life healing.
Only 15 sculptures are available through our showroom. Each is one-of-a-kind.

When your item is ready for delivery, an agent will reach out to arrange an appointment within a four-hour delivery window. Rural deliveries may have fewer routes available, potentially extending delivery times.
To prepare for delivery, please be available during the scheduled window to provide a signature upon receipt. Ensure there is a clear path for the delivery team to navigate to the desired room. Our delivery team cannot move existing furniture within your home.
