Antique French Louis Philippe Style Silver Leaf Wall Mirror
Sourced in Paris, a 19th Century French silver leaf wall mirror in the Louis Philippe style.
The frame is formed in a softened rectangular profile, its rounded corners and gently arched top characteristic of the Louis Philippe vocabulary. The silver leaf surface carries a muted patina, where the original finish has softened into cooler tones of aged silver, revealing traces of underlying warmth along raised carvings and edges.
Delicate foliate carving runs continuously through the frame, its rhythm subtle rather than assertive. The ornament is shallow and measured, allowing light to skim across the surface rather than accumulate upon it. A fine beaded inner edge traces the mirror plate, creating a transition between glass and frame.
Placed in an entryway, it becomes a moment of arrival and pause. In a bedroom or salon, it anchors the wall with understated formality, reflecting light in softened layers rather than sharp duplication.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
