Black Tufted Vinyl + Metal Bench, 1960s
A mid-century Italian bench from the 1960s, defined by its low profile and narrow proportions.
Stretching 54 inches in length while measuring just 17 inches deep, the bench has a long, linear presence without taking up much floor space. At only 13 inches high, its profile is low to the ground and deliberately horizontal.
The original black vinyl upholstery is finished with pronounced button tufting, creating a regular grid across the seat and giving the form a strong visual rhythm. The upholstery wraps a slim metal frame, balancing the softness of the padded surface with the precision and lightness of mid-century construction.
