A 1950s ceramic pitcher by French ceramist Annette Roux, handmade in Vallauris—the picturesque seaside village in the South of France renowned for its pottery.
The sculptural, double-bulb form is finished in an expressive, high-gloss glaze: deep cobalt and inky black drift across the body, framed by swathes of rosy terracotta. A sinuous handle echoes the organic movement of the surface.
