The deep reddish-brown rosewood is carefully worked into a structured rectangular form, with stepped corners and fine brass-toned rods introducing a subtle rhythm around the mirror.
The contrast between the polished wood, slender metal details, and open expanses of glass gives the piece a sense of lightness. Rather than functioning as a purely decorative frame, the construction becomes part of the mirror itself, creating depth and shadow as the eye moves around its perimeter.
Its vertical proportions make it particularly effective in an entryway, dressing area, or above a console, where the generous scale can extend the sense of height within a room.
About Glas & Trä
Glas & Trä was a Swedish manufacturer based in Hovmantorp, in the Småland region of Sweden, known for its combination of glass and finely crafted woodwork.
Founded in 1943 by Gösta Franzén and a group of local partners, the company began production in a former sawmill, initially specializing in decorative glass trays before expanding into furniture and interior objects. Its collection came to include hall furniture, mirrors, tables, and decorative pieces, often combining hand-finished glass with teak, mahogany, rosewood, and other fine woods.
Glas & Trä became particularly recognized for its sculptural mirrors with hand-ground facets, richly finished wood frames, gilded details, and marble accents, reflecting the refined craftsmanship and understated elegance of Swedish mid-century design.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
