A rare model ‘RY-26’ ash wood sideboard designed by Danish architect Hans Wegner and produced by Ry Møbler in the 1950s. This Mid-Century Modern sideboard is composed of delicately grained ash wood with a warm, honey hued stain. Two sliding drawers conceal adjustable shelves and five pull-out drawers lined with charming green felt. Sculpted, tapered legs effortlessly support the frame. Denmark, 1950s.
Hans Jørgensen Wegner was a renowned Danish furniture designer who contributed to the international popularity of Mid 20th Century Danish design. His style is often described as Organic Functionality — Wegner believed that striking aesthetics in furniture were based on a foundation of practicality.
Hans Wegner received a number of awards and honors throughout his career, including the Lunning Prize in 1951, the Grand Prix of the Milan Triennale in 1951, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ Eckersberg Medal in 1956, Sweden’s Prince Eugen Medal in 1961, the Danish Furniture Prize in 1980, the C. F. Hansen Medal in 1982, and the 8th International Design Award in 1997. His works have also been shown in major institutions around the world, such as The Museum of Modern Art in New York, Die Neue Sammlung in Munich, and Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen.

Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs).  Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.

Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery.  The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing.  Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.

Domestic Shipping

In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.

International Shipping
