Antique Italian Giltwood Wall Mirror
An Italian wall mirror from 17th-century Tuscany, conceived at the intersection of craft and ornament, where woodcarving and gilding become a single architectural gesture.
The frame is square and deeply structured, built in carved wood and finished with aged gilt that has softened over time into a layered patina of gold, ochre, and exposed ground. Its surface carries the marks of handwork—subtle irregularities in the carving, softened edges, and areas where the gilding has thinned to reveal the darker wood beneath.
The composition of the frame is rhythmic and deliberate. Repeating block-like reliefs run along each edge, forming a continuous register of light-catching surfaces, while corner motifs introduce floral forms that punctuate the geometry with ornament.

White Glove Delivery
Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.
Domestic Shipping
In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
