Bullicante Murano Glass Torchiere Floor Lamp in the Manner of Barovier & Toso
Crafted in the manner of Barovier & Toso, this sculptural floor lamp is composed entirely of handblown transparent Murano glass. The form rises in stacked ribbed segments, alternating in shape and culminating in a scalloped torchiere shade. Each piece is inset with controlled bubbles, or bullicante—a signature technique pioneered by Ercole Barovier—lending the glass an ethereal, effervescent quality.
The fluted base echoes the shade’s upward bloom, anchoring the composition in rhythm and repetition. When illuminated, the glass glows softly, refracting light that dances gently across its surface.
