Italian Travertine + Slatted Wood Console Table with Brass Stretcher, 1970s
An Italian console table from the 1970s, defined by clean architectural lines and a refined material palette. The rectangular travertine top is richly figured, with soft veining and subtle tonal variation that plays against the warmth of the wood frame. The facade is punctuated by three drawers with a rhythmic pattern of vertical slats.
Rounded slab legs ground the form, joined by a tapered brass stretcher. At just under 70 inches wide, it functions beautifully as an entry console, writing desk, or elegant vanity.
