Vintage Custom Italian Metal Bar Cabinet with Blush Marble Top
Spanning over seven feet in width, this extraordinary bar cabinet embodies the spirit of postwar Italian design, when furniture was conceived as both functional object and artistic statement. Its sweeping, sinuous frame is clad in hand-worked metal, the surface alive with welded linear motifs that meander like abstract vines across a richly patinated copper-brass finish. Crowning the piece, a monumental marble slab in soft rose tones anchors the composition. Its fluid veining drifts across the surface like a landscape in stone, a natural counterpoint to the cabinet’s burnished glow.
