Vintage French Hand-Worked Repoussé Copper Wall Mirror
A mid-century French wall mirror, shaped as much by hand as by design.
The frame is worked in repoussé copper, its surface gently pushed and formed from behind to create a dense, irregular field of raised floral and organic motifs. Each mark carries the imprint of the maker’s hand, subtle variations that give the piece movement, texture, and a sense of individuality.
Over time, the copper has developed a nuanced patina, shifting between warm brown and soft verdigris tones that catch the light in unexpected ways. The mirror plate sits within this richly worked border, its clean, tapered form offering a deliberate contrast to the surrounding ornament. Small sculptural tabs hold the glass in place.
Hung in an entry, it becomes a focal point; in a more intimate setting, it adds depth and atmosphere without overwhelming.

White Glove Delivery
Our White Glove service includes delivery inside the home (including one flight of stairs). Once the shippers are in your region, they will contact you beforehand to provide the delivery day and time window. Standard lead time is 3-5 weeks.
Ensure a clear path and be available to sign for the delivery. The team cannot move existing furniture. Rural deliveries may experience longer wait times due to limited routing. Alert us if there are additional stairs, COI requirements or other unique circumstances.
Domestic Shipping
In-stock inventory ships via UPS, USPS, or FedEx within 5-10 business days (excluding holidays). Rates are calculated based on the full order value, size and region.
