Vintage French Silver-Plated Rectangular Box
A mid-century French box in silver-plated metal, defined by its reflective surface.
Rectangular and low in profile, the exterior is finished in a softly aged silver plate, its surface carrying a gentle patina that speaks to time and handling. Subtle tonal variations, cool highlights, warmer undertones, give the piece a lived-in depth, while clean, linear edges keep the overall composition measured and composed. Along the reverse, subtle hallmarks anchor the box in its origin and craftsmanship.
The lid opens to reveal a contrasting interior lined in rich chocolate suede. Soft to the touch and visually grounding, it introduces a note of warmth against the cooler exterior.
